Mr. Prabhu D
I am an experienced Animal House Supervisor with extensive expertise in laboratory animal care, preclinical research, and animal facility management. I have been working in the field of laboratory animal science and biomedical research, with hands-on experience in the handling, breeding, monitoring, dosing, anesthesia, sample collection, and maintenance of laboratory animals under GLP-compliant conditions.
My research experience includes developing and maintaining experimental animal models of diabetes, obesity, insulin resistance, diabetic neuropathy, and diabetic nephropathy. I have also contributed to studies involving probiotics, medicinal plants, beta-cell dysfunction, and molecular mechanisms associated with metabolic diseases.
In addition to animal research, I have practical experience in tissue culture, cell-line maintenance, lymphocyte isolation, Western blotting, comet assay, spectrophotometric analysis, tissue collection, and biological sample processing. I have also supported research teams in laboratory management, inventory control, experimental procedures, and student training. My professional interests are focused on contributing to high-quality preclinical and biomedical research while maintaining high standards of animal welfare, laboratory safety, and research quality.
