Dr. H. Madhumitha Haridoss is an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Division of Medical Research at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. She holds a Ph.D. in Science and Humanities from Anna University and has over 10 years of research experience, with expertise in Health Technology Assessment (HTA), health economics, evidence synthesis and systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

Her research focuses on health economic evaluation, cost-effectiveness analysis, evidence synthesis and the application of research evidence to inform healthcare policy and clinical decision-making. She has extensive experience in developing economic models, including Markov models and decision trees, and has contributed to research in diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, polycystic ovary syndrome and other priority health conditions.

She serves as the Principal Investigator of the Department of Health Research-funded Technical Resource Centre for the Centre for Evidence-Based Guidelines and has led several national-level research training initiatives. She is also a Co-Principal Investigator in an ICMR-funded project and a recognised Ph.D. supervisor at SRMIST. With over 40 peer-reviewed publications, she is actively involved in mentoring postgraduate students and research scholars, strengthening research capacity and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations to advance evidence-informed healthcare.
